FAQ’S

Does Microblading Hurt?

The pain from microblading depends on a variety of things, clients natural pain tolerance can be effected by menstrual cycles, medications and overall skin conditions. For some people it may be very subtle and others may feel severe discomfort. Therefore, we use a great anesthetic which fully numbs clients 95.9% of the time with no further discomfort.

Are your needles/tools clean?

Yes! Sterile tools or unopened disposable tools are used for your safety. All tools are disposable and opened at your appointment.

If I use anesthetic, will there be different results as opposed to not using any?

Using anesthetic before your treatment requires a set time of 45 - 60 minutes, the problem with this is that the skin will retain too much water and the skin will then grab with a rubber like consistency. When this happens, the pigment won’t set well into the skin and the results will not be satisfactory. It is recommended to use anesthetic just after the first pass (when the skin is already open).

I am going on vacation, Can I still get microbladed?

The best time to get microbladed is 14 days before or after your trip.

How long does Microblading last?

Depending on the type of skin and aftercare of the brows, microblading can last between 6 months to 16 months.

I have previous work done on my brows, can I still get microbladed?

Yes! In most cases, previous makeup can be covered with beautiful hair strokes. However, there are times when previous PMU may be too dark, the skin may be badly scarred or the previous shape does not fit into our natural desired shape and in these cases, it is best to have the old makeup removed first.

How far apart is each session?

After the first appointment, the second stage of the treatment is a touch-up in 30 to 45 days. It takes a minimum of 24 days for the skin to completely heal.
